Applications are invited for a Knowledge Transfer Fellow position to conduct feasibility and pilot studies in a wide range of areas related to the EPSRC funded capabilities and expertise in the Decision and Cognitive Sciences (DCS) Research Centre. These areas include decision sciences, cognitive sciences, information systems, operations management, and business strategy.

We are looking for exceptional candidates with excellent communication and presentation skills, strong analytical skills, good knowledge of information technology, experience in business development, dedication to, and proven track record in bridging links between research and applications. You will work in a dynamic and exciting research environment, and will be expected to collaborate with researchers from the university and practitioners in industry.

The post is for a period of up to 13 months until 30 September 2012. Applicants must have a bachelors degree in system sciences, decision sciences, operational research, operations management, or engineering, excellent ability to work independently and proactively in planning feasibility studies and business development activities and excellent match-making ability to pair practical organisational problems with academic capabilities in the DCS Research Centre.
