A lot of people call them pre-NODs. A pre-NOD is a notice of default. A pre-NOD notice of default is a homeowner who has been behind on their mortgage payments 30, 60 or 90 days and legal action has not yet been filed against them.
You will see references to both pre-NOD leads and pre-NOD lists?
A pre-NOD lead is the name and the address of a homeowner who has been behind on their mortgage maybe 30, 60 or 90 days delayed on their payments in the last few months. A pre-NOD list is just multiple names and addresses of people who have been behind on their mortgages.
One of the questions that we get is, how do I use these leads in my real estate business?
