The Education Business Plan Competition was created in 2010 through a partnership between Penn GSE and the Milken Family Foundation. The BPC culminates with a live event, judged by a panel of industry experts, and has more than doubled the amount of prize money and number of prizes since it was first launched. The Competition continues to grow internationally as well, with foreign applicants accounting for 20% of the 2012 submission pool and two prize winners originating outside the United States. This year?s finals will be held in Philadelphia on May 7-8, 2013.
