Parade of Homes is biggest ever | Inside Real Estate News

This Dream Community home in Lone Tree is priced at just over $1.6 million.

The 2011 Denver Parade of Homes opens tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 11, with 64 new homes ? the most ever ? found in 19 cities throughout metro DenverParade homes can be found from Loveland in the north; Castle Rock and Parker in the south; Central City in the west; Aurora to the east; and Elizabeth in the southeast.

Visitors are encouraged to plan their Parade tour by visiting the website at www.ParadeofHomesDenver.com. The website offers home details, photos, a listing of special events, and a ?plan your tour? function that creates home-to-home driving directions for the homes visitors want to see.

The Parade?s 64 homes were built by 22 custom and national home builders. The total value of the homes is more than $34.5 million. More than 70,000 visitors are expected during the Parade?s four-week run.

All the homes are for sale and range in price from $146,100 (for a home in North Denver) to $1.6 million ( in Lone Tree). In addition, a new community in development in Evergreen is offering half-acre lots for $300,000. Home styles range from ranch and two-story, to prairie, modern, contemporary, Tuscan, French country, Italian country, Spanish Andalusian, city living, suburban, gated communities, master-planned communities, adult resort, golf course, mountain living, and homes with great views.

Dream Community

A new feature this year includes seven Dream Homes priced are more than $1 million each in a Dream Community built by Celebrity Custom Homes in Lone Tree. These Dream Homes are custom luxury homes which are furnished, decorated and landscaped, all located in Lone Tree?s Heritage Hills community. Two more Dream Homes, also built by Celebrity, are open for touring in Parker?s Pradera community.

In addition, four communities are participating and they include Prospectors Run (Central City); RidgeGate (Lone Tree); Solterra (Lakewood); and Stapleton (Denver).

Parade homes are open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays, from August 11 through Labor Day (Sept. 5.).To make sure visitors have time to tour the seven Dream Homes, the last tours of the day begin at5p.m.

The Parade of Homes is produced by The Home Builders Association of Metro Denver. The HBA is a trade association representing businesses involved in the residential development, construction and remodeling industry in the eight-county Denver metro region. Members include home builders, land developers, remodelers, architects, mortgage lenders, building material suppliers and subcontractors.
