A parade honoring the Dallas Cowboys? ? victors in Super Bowl XII in New Orleans ? was held Monday afternoon, January 16 in downtown Dallas.? According to published reports, ?Fans stubbornly ignored the day?s chilling temperatures, made colder as winds whipped around buildings.? Spectators waited anxiously ? as long as 45 minutes in some cases ? before sighting the first car in the victory caravan.? The parade started at Ross, fought its way through clawing fans along Akard, and ended with an official ceremony at the new City Hall.?
